TCI C0595 Cyclohexanemethanol (CAS 100-49-2) is a primary alcohol attached to a saturated cyclohexane ring. It is widely used as a model substrate for selective oxidation to the corresponding aldehyde, as the alcohol partner in esterification, and as a starting point for ether or sulfonate ester formation.
