TCI C1416 2-[2-(2-Chloroethoxy)ethoxy]ethanol (CAS 5197-62-6) is a short-chain PEG building block with a chloride at one terminus and a hydroxyl at the other. This asymmetry lets researchers perform nucleophilic substitution first and then couple through the free hydroxyl group.
