The Joan Lab MS5S is a compact magnetic stirrer with an LCD display, built for everyday liquid mixing on the lab bench. A brushless motor drives a strong magnetic field across a 135 mm working plate, giving a large mixing ability of up to 2L (water) in a small footprint.
Speed is set with a simple knob across a range of 200-2000pm, and the LCD lets the operator read the setting at a glance. The unit draws only 5W, accepts 100-240V 50/60Hz supplies, works with stir bars of 30 mm and has an IP42-rated shell.
The MS5S suits chemical synthesis and sample preparation, pharmaceutical formulation, food and cosmetics R&D, environmental and water analysis, and university teaching laboratories. It is supplied with a 1-year warranty.
