The Joan Lab EP100PRO is a battery-powered electric pipette controller for aspirating and dispensing liquids with plastic or glass pipettes from 0.1 to 100ml, and it also accepts Pasteur pipettes. It fills 25ml in under 5s, and suction speed can be set across six levels, with the active setting shown on an LCD display.

Liquid can be released either by dynamic drainage or by gravity drainage, depending on the protocol. A 0.45μm hydrophobic filter membrane protects the instrument from liquid ingress, and at 180g the unit stays comfortable during long sessions. Intermittent use is possible for about 8 hours on one battery charge.

Typical fields of use include molecular biology and PCR preparation, clinical diagnostics, pharmaceutical and chemical analysis, food and water testing, and university teaching and research laboratories. The EP100PRO comes with a 1-year warranty.
