The Joan Lab VM-500-1P is a compact microplate shaker (microplate oscillator) built to mix ELISA plates, tissue culture plates and 96-well plates. A powerful brushless motor drives a horizontal gyration with a 4mm amplitude, and speed can be set anywhere from 100 to 1200rpm in 10rpm steps.

An integrated timer lets users program runs from 1min up to 8h, so incubation and mixing steps can be repeated consistently. The unit draws 20W from an AC 100 - 240V, 50/60Hz supply and has a small 155*150*90 mm footprint suited to crowded benches.

Typical fields of use include clinical laboratories (blood tube mixing), cell and molecular biology, microbiology, pharmaceutical R&D and biotechnology. The VM-500-1P comes with a 1-year warranty.
