The Joan Lab VM-500-2P is a compact microplate shaker (microplate oscillator) designed for mixing samples held in ELISA plates, tissue culture plates and 96-well plates. A brushless motor provides strong, steady drive, moving the platform in a horizontal orbit with a 4mm amplitude.

Speed can be set between 100-1200rpm in steps of 10rpm, and the built-in timer runs from 1min - 8h, so plates can be left to mix for a defined period. The unit draws 20W, accepts AC 100 - 240V, 50/60Hz and measures 180*150*90 mm, making it easy to place on a crowded bench.

The shaker suits work in clinical laboratories, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, pharmaceutical R&D and biotechnology. It is supplied with a 1-year warranty.
