The Joan Lab MC-10K is a compact benchtop mini centrifuge for spinning down samples in standard microcentrifuge tubes. Its rotor holds eight 1.5 or 2.0ml tubes and runs at up to 10000rpm, producing a maximum relative centrifugal force of 6149xg from a 30W motor.

For safe, comfortable everyday use, the unit halts rotation as soon as the lid is opened and operates with low noise. Measuring 160*135*110 mm and weighing 0.8 kg, it takes up little bench space and is easy to move between workstations.

Typical fields of use include clinical and hospital laboratories for blood and serum separation, molecular biology and biotechnology for DNA/RNA work and cell pellets, pharmaceutical quality control, food and beverage testing, and university and research laboratories.
