The Joan Lab MC-12K is a compact benchtop mini centrifuge for quick spins of microtubes. It runs up to 12000rpm, producing a maximum relative centrifugal force of 8855xg, and its rotor takes eight 1.5 / 2.0ml tubes. It is the fastest model in the Joan Lab mini centrifuge series.
For safer operation, the rotor stops as soon as the lid is opened, and the unit is designed for low-noise running. It draws 40W, measures 160*135*110 mm and weighs 0.8 kg, so it fits easily on a crowded bench.
Typical users include clinical and hospital laboratories separating blood and serum, molecular biology and biotechnology labs handling DNA/RNA and cell pellets, pharmaceutical quality control, food and beverage testing, and university and research laboratories. The MC-12K comes with a 1-year warranty.
