The Joan Lab MC-7S is a compact constant-speed mini centrifuge for quick spin-down and separation of small sample volumes. It reaches a maximum speed of 7000rpm±5% and a maximum relative centrifugal force of 3286xg, drawing only 25W and running on AC100-240V or DC24V.
Several rotors are available to widen its working capacity: twelve positions for 0.2/0.5/1.5/2ml centrifuge tubes plus four 8-strip 0.2ml PCR tube positions, twelve positions for 0.5/1.0ml micro blood tubes, and a hematocrit rotor holding twelve 40mm capillary tubes. A low centre of gravity keeps the unit steady during runs, and it operates with low noise.
