The Joan Lab MS5 is a compact magnetic stirrer for everyday mixing of liquids on the lab bench. Its strong magnetic field and large mixing ability handle volumes of up to 2L (H₂O) on a 135 mm working plate, using stir bars of 30 mm.

Speed is adjusted with a simple knob across a range of 350-1800rpm, and a durable brushless motor drives the stirring while drawing only 5W. The housing carries an IP42 shell protection rating, and the unit runs on 100-240V 50/60Hz supplies. The MS5 has no LCD display; the MS5S variant in the same series adds one.

The MS5 suits chemical synthesis and sample preparation, pharmaceutical formulation, food and cosmetics R&D, environmental and water analysis, and university teaching laboratories. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
