The Joan Lab OS-15S is a laboratory overhead stirrer built around a brushless motor, designed to mix volumes of up to 10L. Its speed can be set anywhere from 100 to 2000rpm, and a smooth start helps keep liquids from splashing as the shaft comes up to speed. With a maximum torque of 15N.cm, it handles media with viscosities up to 8000mPas.

A built-in timer covers runs from 1min to 23h59min, so long mixing steps can proceed without constant supervision. The drill chuck accepts stirring shafts from 1-10mm in diameter, and the unit draws 30W on an AC100-240V supply.

The OS-15S suits chemical synthesis and sample preparation, pharmaceutical formulation, food and cosmetics R&D, environmental and water analysis, and university teaching laboratories. The stirrer comes with a 1-year warranty.
