The Joan Lab OS-30S is a laboratory overhead stirrer built for mixing volumes of up to 20L, including thick samples with viscosities as high as 16000mPas. A brushless motor delivers a maximum torque of 30N.cm, and the speed is adjustable between 50 and 1200rpm, with a smooth start that helps prevent splashing when stirring begins.

A built-in timer can be set from 1min to 23h59min, so long mixing runs can proceed without constant supervision. The drill chuck holds stirring shafts with diameters of 1-10mm, and the unit operates on AC100-240V with a power rating of 36W. Within the Joan Lab overhead stirrer series, the OS-30S offers the largest stirring capacity.
