6-Bromo-1,3-benzothiazole (CAS 53218-26-1) is a heterocyclic building block that pairs the widely used benzothiazole core with a synthetically valuable bromine handle at the 6-position. The aryl bromide is well suited to palladium-catalysed cross-couplings such as Suzuki–Miyaura, Sonogashira and Buchwald–Hartwig amination, enabling rapid diversification into libraries of substituted benzothiazoles.
