TCI B6390 is (1S,2S)-N1,N2-dibenzylcyclohexane-1,2-diamine dihydrochloride (CAS 3070821-54-1), a chiral building block based on the widely used trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane scaffold. Its C2-symmetric, enantiodefined framework underpins many chiral ligands and bifunctional organocatalysts, including salen-type ligands and thiourea or squaramide catalysts. The dihydrochloride salt form improves handling and shelf stability relative to the free base, which can be liberated immediately before use. Available in 1 g and 5 g packs, it should be kept tightly closed in a cool, dry place because amine salts readily take up moisture.
