TCI B6570 is 1,4-benzenediethanamine dihydroiodide, the para-substituted isomer of a symmetric aromatic diamine supplied as its diammonium iodide salt. Its linear geometry places the two ammonium termini at opposite ends of the molecule, a shape of particular interest as a bridging spacer cation in layered halide perovskite research. It also serves as a stable, easily weighed precursor to the free symmetric diamine for polyamide, macrocycle, and ligand synthesis.
