TCI Chlorocholine Chloride (CAS 999-81-5), commonly known as chlormequat chloride or CCC, is a water-soluble quaternary ammonium salt widely studied as a plant growth regulator associated with gibberellin biosynthesis inhibition. It is used in plant physiology and agronomic research on stem strength and plant height control, and as a quaternary ammonium salt it is also relevant to phase-transfer catalysis studies. The product is available in 25 g and 500 g packages for pot trials through to research-scale field work.
