TCI C0329 Choline Chloride (CAS 67-48-1) is a highly water-soluble quaternary ammonium salt widely used as a phase transfer catalyst in two-phase organic reactions. It is best known as a key component of deep eutectic solvents, typically combined with hydrogen bond donors such as urea, and is central to many green chemistry and electrodeposition studies. The compound also serves as a choline source in nutrition and biochemistry research. Supplied by Tokyo Chemical Industry in 25 g and 500 g packs, it is strongly hygroscopic and must be stored tightly closed in a cool, dry, moisture-free environment.
