TCI C0321 Cholesterol Linoleate (CAS 604-33-1) is the cholesteryl ester of linoleic acid, combining a rigid steroid core with a polyunsaturated acyl chain. It serves both as a component in cholesteric liquid crystal studies and as a widely used reference material in lipid research, lipid oxidation work, and lipoprotein model systems. Because of its unsaturated chain, the product is best stored cold, tightly closed, and protected from light and air. It is supplied by Tokyo Chemical Industry in a 25 g pack and should be handled with standard laboratory personal protective equipment.
