TCI C0861 alpha-D-Cellobiose Octaacetate (CAS 5346-90-7) is the fully acetylated derivative of the disaccharide cellobiose with a defined alpha anomeric configuration. Acetylation improves solubility in organic solvents and provides temporary hydroxyl protection, making the compound a convenient precursor for glycosyl donors in oligosaccharide synthesis.
