TCI C1132 1,2,3-Cyclohexanetriol (CAS 6286-43-7) is supplied as a mixture of cis and trans isomers and provides a cyclohexane scaffold bearing three adjacent hydroxyl groups. The vicinal polyol arrangement supports acetonide formation, selective protection studies, and the synthesis of cyclitol-type derivatives. Its three hydroxyl handles also make it useful as a cross-linking unit in research-scale polyester and polyurethane work.
