TCI C1447 (1R,2R)-(-)-1,2-Cyclohexanediamine (CAS 20439-47-8) is an enantiopure trans vicinal diamine and a cornerstone chiral building block in asymmetric synthesis. Its two adjacent primary amines form a rigid bidentate donor set, ideal for salen ligands, Schiff bases, and transition metal complexes. It is equally valuable as the backbone of thiourea and squaramide organocatalysts.
