TCI C1543, Cycloheptanone Oxime (CAS 2158-31-8), is the oxime derivative of cycloheptanone and a valuable precursor in medium-ring chemistry. It is most commonly employed in the Beckmann rearrangement, which converts the cyclic oxime into a ring-expanded lactam of interest to both polymer and heterocyclic research. The oxime group can also be reduced to the corresponding primary amine or hydrolysed back to the parent ketone.
