Collection: Monomers

Monomers — gathers functional monomers such as acrylates, diamines, diols, epoxides, vinyls, and styrenes that serve as building blocks of synthetic polymers. This category also includes fluorinated monomers and bismaleimides for specialty high-performance polymers.

Monomers are used by polymer chemists for the synthesis of polyamides, polyesters, polyurethanes, and thermoset polymers through polycondensation or addition polymerization reactions. Diisocyanate monomers and dicarboxylic acid dichlorides are used in forming polyurethanes and aromatic polyamides, while acrylate and vinyl monomers serve as raw materials for radical polymerization for functional materials and coatings.

Pay attention to the purity level of the monomer, the presence or absence of polymerization inhibitors, as well as the physical form and concentration of solutions for gaseous monomers dissolved in certain solvents. All products are genuine products of Tokyo Chemical Industry (TCI) Japan, with purity, packaging, and storage conditions listed on the page of each item.
