TCI B6965 is 3,6-bis(3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-6-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine, a symmetric tetrazine reagent for bioorthogonal click chemistry. Its electron-poor tetrazine core undergoes rapid, catalyst-free inverse electron demand Diels–Alder reactions with strained dienophiles. Because tetrazines also quench fluorescence, this scaffold is useful in turn-on probe design and in biomolecule conjugation workflows.
