TCI C0324 Cholic Acid (CAS 81-25-4) is a primary bile acid with a facially amphiphilic steroid structure that enables micelle formation and lipid solubilisation. It is widely used as a biological surfactant, as a chiral building block in supramolecular chemistry, and as a starting material for bile acid derivatives. Researchers also apply it as a reference compound in bile acid analysis and lipid metabolism studies.
