TCI C0373 Bis(2,4-pentanedionato)cobalt(II) Dihydrate (CAS 123334-29-2), commonly known as cobalt(II) acetylacetonate dihydrate, is a coordination complex bearing two acetylacetonate ligands around a divalent cobalt centre. It is widely investigated as a precatalyst for C-H activation and other transformations where a redox-active, non-precious metal centre is desirable. The complex also serves as a convenient cobalt source for thin-film precursors and as a starting material for ligand-exchange synthesis. AMI Scientific supplies this TCI product in 25 g and 500 g packs for catalyst screening and repeated preparative work.
