TCI C0388 Corticosterone, CAS 50-22-6, is a naturally occurring glucocorticoid steroid and the principal stress hormone in rodents. It is widely used as an analytical standard for hormone quantification and as a reference ligand in glucocorticoid receptor and HPA-axis research. Laboratories also apply it as a substrate in steroid metabolism studies and for controlled glucocorticoid exposure in cell culture experiments.
