TCI C0421 Croton Oil (CAS 8001-28-3) is a plant-derived oil widely applied in the preparation of animal disease models. Its phorbol ester content produces a rapid and reproducible inflammatory response, making it a common positive control in anti-inflammatory drug screening. The material is also used in two-stage skin carcinogenesis studies and in research on protein kinase C-mediated signalling.
