Collection: Quinacridone Dyes

Quinacridone Dyes — compiles quinacridone pigment compounds and their N-alkyl derivatives that have a broadly conjugated aromatic system, so they absorb and emit light in the visible wavelength range. The planar structure and intermolecular hydrogen bonding give color stability and distinctive optical properties.

Quinacridone pigments and their derivatives are used by photonic and organic electronics researchers as dye materials in optoelectronic applications, including active layers in organic semiconductor devices and solid-state fluorescence studies. N,N'-dialkyl derivatives such as dimethyl and dibutyl quinacridone are chosen when solubility or processing properties different from the parent quinacridone are needed.

Example products in this collection: TCI Q0083 1047-16-1 Quinacridone (purified by sublimation), TCI D2687 19205-19-7 N,N'-Dimethylquinacridone, TCI Q0057 1047-16-1 Quinacridone, TCI D3227 19205-19-7 N,N'-Dimethylquinacridone (purified by sublimation), TCI D4780 99762-80-8 N,N'-Dibutylquinacridone.

Selection considers the purity level, including whether the material has been purified by sublimation for thin-film applications, as well as the type of N-alkyl substituent that affects solubility and optical properties. All products are genuine Tokyo Chemical Industry (TCI) Japan products, with purity, packaging, and storage conditions listed on each item's page.
