The Ossila Solar Cell I-V Test System T2002F2 is a compact source-measure setup for characterizing photovoltaic devices in the research lab. It records the current-voltage curve of a solar cell, and the bundled PC software then works out the main device metrics: power conversion efficiency (PCE), fill factor (FF), short-circuit current density (Jsc), open-circuit voltage (Voc), maximum power (Pmax), shunt resistance (Rsh) and series resistance (Rs).
The unit sources voltages from -10 V to +10 V with a resolution down to 170 µV and measures currents from ±10 nA up to ±200 mA. The software supports custom settle times, forward and backward sweeps for hysteresis studies, stabilized current output, maximum power point tracking and repeated lifetime measurements to follow device stability over time.
This configuration is supplied without a solar simulator; a solar simulator is required to obtain standard efficiency measurements. In the manual version, switches on the test board are used to select each pixel, and the T2002F test board suits Ossila S241 and S251 substrates (75 x 25 mm).
