TCI C0374 Tris(2,4-pentanedionato)cobalt(III) (CAS 21679-46-9) is a stable octahedral cobalt(III) complex with three acetylacetonate ligands and good solubility in common organic solvents. It is widely studied in non-precious metal catalysis as a practical cobalt source for radical reactions, controlled polymerisation, and organic transformations traditionally dominated by noble metals. The complex also functions as a precursor for cobalt-containing materials and as a starting point for ligand-exchange chemistry.
