Description
TCI C0490 Cyclohexanone Oxime (CAS 100-64-1) is the oxime derivative of cyclohexanone and a classic intermediate for the Beckmann rearrangement. It is widely used to demonstrate the conversion of an oxime into a lactam, as well as hydrolysis back to the parent ketone and reduction to the corresponding amine. Its crystalline form also makes it a convenient substrate for recrystallisation practice.
