Description

TCI C0513 p-Cymene (CAS 99-87-6) is a naturally occurring aromatic hydrocarbon bearing methyl and isopropyl groups in the para position. It is widely used as a high-boiling aromatic solvent and as a reference component in essential oil and natural product research. In organometallic chemistry it serves as the standard arene ligand in ruthenium precursor complexes used for transfer hydrogenation and C–H activation.
