N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolylsulfenamide (TCI C0576, CAS 95-33-0), widely known as CBS, is a benzothiazole-based sulfenamide used as a delayed-action vulcanisation accelerator in rubber chemistry. Laboratories apply it in experimental compound formulations to study curing behaviour and processing safety. Its S–N bond and benzothiazole core also make it a useful heterocyclic building block for sulfur-nitrogen chemistry. AMI Scientific offers this TCI product in 25 g and 500 g packs for materials research and rubber testing laboratories.
