TCI C1482 (1R)-(-)-Camphorquinone (CAS 10334-26-6) is an enantiomerically defined bicyclic α-diketone derived from the camphor skeleton. It is widely used as a visible-light photoinitiator for radical polymerisation, typically in combination with a tertiary amine co-initiator, and is well known in dental resin research. The rigid chiral framework also makes it a useful auxiliary and ligand precursor in asymmetric synthesis. Supplied in 1 g and 5 g packs; store protected from light and refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
