TCI Crocin (Gardenia Fruits Extract, CAS 42553-65-1) is a water-soluble glycosylated carotenoid pigment derived from gardenia fruit. Its sugar-capped polyene structure gives it unusual hydrophilicity for a carotenoid and a characteristic yellow-orange colour. It is widely used as a reference compound in natural-product analysis, natural colourant research, and glycoscience studies. AMI Scientific offers a 25 g research pack; protect from light and heat, and refer to the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet and Certificate of Analysis.
