The Ossila Slot Die Coater L2005A2-100-AU is a complete benchtop system for depositing uniform thin films over areas of up to 150 cm2. It combines a high-precision integrated syringe pump with a customizable stainless steel slot die head, and this configuration uses the 100 mm standard head, suited to solutions from 0 to 1000 cPs.
Users can set stage speed from 50 μm.s-1 to 75 mm.s-1, along with flow rate, plate temperature up to 140 °C, head height, alignment and channel thickness, and multi-step programs run through intuitive software. Two-point levelling with precision micrometer heads makes gap height adjustment straightforward, helping to stabilize the meniscus and tune the minimum wet film thickness.
Micro-step syringe control gives precise flow with defined start and end times, while a heated stage improves wetting and film drying. Interchangeable stainless steel shims and meniscus guides, plus modular add-on accessories, let the coater adapt to different coating setups.
