This Ossila Spin Coating System pairs the Standard V3 spin coater (L2001A3) with a single-channel syringe pump, a connection adapter, disposable syringes, PTFE tubing and needles. It automates solution dispensing during spin coating, so thin film fabrication becomes more repeatable and less dependent on manual technique.
The spin coater runs from 120 to 6,000 rpm with speed stability within <2% error and spin times of 1 to 1,000 sec. It has a polypropylene bowl, steel casing and tempered glass lid, accepts substrates up to 100 mm (4") in diameter, and stores multi-step recipes in its built-in software. This version ships with a multi-substrate polypropylene chuck that holds common substrate formats.
The syringe pump supports infusion and withdrawal, clamps syringes from 0.5 μl to 60 ml, and is driven by a NEMA 17 stepper motor with 1/128 micro stepping and a rate accuracy of ±0.16%. Neither unit needs an external PC. With the adapter fitted, manual dispensing is still possible, and both units can also be used on their own. The US plug variant is supplied.

The spin coater has a magnetic safety switch on the door, a built-in spirit level and adjustable feet. The syringe pump has limit switches and crash sensing, and it should be operated at 5 °C – 40 °C and up to 80% RH at 31 °C.
