This Ossila Spin Coating System pairs the Standard V3 spin coater (L2001A3) with a dual syringe pump and a polypropylene multi-substrate chuck. It is built for labs that want to automate solution deposition during spin coating and produce thin films more reproducibly. A connection adapter, disposable syringes, PTFE tubing and needles are included so the pump can dispense directly onto the spinning substrate.
The spin coater runs from 120 to 6,000 rpm with spin times of 1 to 1,000 sec and accepts substrates up to 100 mm (4") in diameter. The dual syringe pump offers two independently controlled channels, infusion and withdrawal modes, and clamps for syringes from 0.5 μl to 60 ml. Both units have built-in software, so multi-step programs can be created and stored without an external PC.
Up to four different solutions can be dispensed separately, which suits layer-by-layer coating and antisolvent quenching. Manual pipetting remains possible with the adapter in place, and each unit can also be used on its own.
