The Ossila Glove Box is a benchtop inert atmosphere enclosure for handling, processing and storing air-sensitive samples in chemistry and related work. It reaches oxygen levels as low as 0.5% and moisture levels as low as 0.1% relative humidity (15 ppm), with a leak rate below 0.25% vol/hour (ISO Class II).

Built from grade 304 stainless steel with a 6 mm hardened glass window and butyl rubber gloves, the box limits moisture and oxygen ingress compared with acrylic designs. Its small volume and low ingress keep inert gas consumption down, while integrated software and sensor boards monitor oxygen, moisture, pressure and temperature in real time.

Automated routines cover initial, quick, daily circulation and antechamber purges, plus a pre-programmed leak test. Two universal KF 40 flange feedthroughs allow power, communication lines or vacuum systems to be connected without breaking the controlled atmosphere. In the manufacturer's tests, perovskite devices made in this glove box reached 19.2% champion efficiency, close to the 19.7% obtained in a 0.1 ppm system.

Supply the glove box with nitrogen of 99.99% purity at an inlet pressure of 1 bar to 2 bar. The gas exhaust is unfiltered, so route it into a fume hood or the building exhaust stack. Maximum pressure is limited by software control and a 500 mbar blow-off valve.
