The Ossila Laminar Flow Hood is a benchtop clean air workstation for handling sensitive samples in small-scale experiments. It arrives complete with a HEPA filter, pre-filter, environmental sensors, control interface, UV light and stainless steel tray, so it is ready to use without extra components.

Its flat-pack construction lets you build it in either orientation and change later if needed. The horizontal setup delivers smooth laminar flow with minimal turbulence to shield samples from outside contamination, while the vertical setup fits bulkier equipment and limits cross contamination of easily disturbed materials such as powders.

An H13 HEPA filter captures over 99.99% of airborne particulates, allowing air purity down to ISO Class 5. Built-in particle and pressure sensors report live air quality and filter saturation, keep the single speed AC blower running optimally, and warn of filter changes or airflow shifts. Energy use is kept low with LED lighting, infrared motion sensors for standby mode and a timed 280 nm UVC LED for surface decontamination.
