This Ossila Spin Coating System pairs the Standard V3 spin coater (L2001A3) with a single-channel syringe pump, a connection adapter, disposable syringes, PTFE tubing and needles. This configuration includes a PTFE multi-substrate chuck and a Type B (US) power plug. Pump-controlled dispensing replaces hand pipetting, reducing operator error and making thin film runs easier to reproduce.
The adapter lets up to four different solutions be dispensed separately, supporting layer-by-layer coating and antisolvent quenching, while manual dispensing remains possible without removing it. The spin coater runs from 120 – 6,000 rpm with spin times of 1 – 1,000 sec and accepts substrates up to 100 mm (4") diameter. The chuck holds 20mm x 15mm, 25mm x 25mm, 50mm x 50mm and 75mm x 25mm substrates.
The syringe pump supports infusion and withdrawal with syringes from 0.5 μl to 60 ml, driven by a NEMA 17 stepper motor with ±0.16% rate accuracy. Both units have built-in software, so multi-step programs can be stored without an external PC, and each can also be used on its own.
