The Ossila T2007A1-P is a matched pair of manual micromanipulators, one left-handed and one right-handed, for positioning probes and small tools under a microscope. Typical work includes probing electronic components, handling 2D materials and interacting with single cells.

This version uses micrometers with a 10 μm readout resolution. Because the adjustment is continuous rather than stepped, the probe can be moved by approximately 4-8 µm. Precision linear bearings on the X, Y and Z axes, with spring-loaded bearings to remove backlash, give smooth and repeatable motion over a 6.5 mm graduated travel (10 mm maximum). Each micrometer is aligned with the axis it controls, so the probe can be adjusted without looking away from the eyepiece.

Each unit ships with a 20 μm tip tungsten probe and an SMA connection with SMA to SMA coaxial cable, held by a built-in cable clamp to reduce noise. Leakage current is below 100 pA at ± 75 VDC and path resistance is ≤0.3 Ω. A magnetic base and compact footprint allow several units on a benchtop probe station, and a universal tool adapter accepts pipettes, syringes, vacuum needles or optical fibers.
