The Ossila Tool Clamp Micromanipulator is a manual positioning stage for holding and guiding pen-shaped tools such as syringes, micropipettes, optical fibers and vacuum needles. Three precision micrometers drive movement along the X, Y and Z axes, giving a smallest achievable motion of approximately 4-8 µm. It is offered in right-handed and left-handed configurations, or as a pair.

A universal tool clamp is mounted on the arm at the factory and tilts through ±90 degrees, so tools can meet the sample at almost any angle. Its 25 mm V-groove keeps cylindrical tools between 1 mm and 13 mm in diameter aligned and steady, while the small clamp footprint leaves room around the device under test.

The anodized aluminum body sits on a permanent magnet base, making it simple to attach to a probe station. Each axis offers 10 mm of maximum travel, with 6.5 mm graduated and a micrometer readout resolution of 10 μm. For electrical probing, Ossila offers a separate micromanipulator fitted with a tungsten probe tip and SMA cable.
