The Ossila Standard Electrochemical Cell Kit combines a 50 ml glass electrochemical cell with a complete set of three electrodes, giving labs a ready starting point for electrochemistry work such as cyclic voltammetry and electrolysis.
The electrode set consists of a platinum disc working electrode with a 2 mm disc diameter, a platinum wire counter electrode and a reference electrode. The reference electrode is offered in two versions: aqueous AgCl or non-aqueous Ag/Ag+, so the kit can be matched to the electrolyte system in use.
The cell uses POM inlets set in a screw-fit PTFE lid. It works with the wider Ossila range of working, reference and counter electrodes, and spare parts and technical support from in-house scientists are available.
