The Ossila PTFE photoelectrochemical cell (C2017C1, 50 ml) is a sealed cell body for photoelectric effect experiments using either two or three electrodes. A quartz optical window lets light reach the working electrode, and also allows photocatalytic reactions to be watched in situ.

Machining the body from PTFE gives the cell strong chemical inertness and thermal stability, so it suits harsher or corrosive electrolytes where glass cells may be less appropriate. The cell has a screw-fit lid with three electrode inlets and two gas inlets, and works with Ossila's range of electrodes.

Each cell comes with screw-in adaptors for electrodes and gases, a Luggin capillary and gas bubbler, a PTFE screw-on window cap, an internal seal and a rubber O-ring, plus accessories such as potentiostat PTFE tubing, PTFE tape, blank and stopper inlets, and spare O-rings. A 100 ml version (C2017D1) is also offered.
