This Ossila bundle pairs the Advanced spin coater (L2001B2) with a dual syringe pump, linked by a connection adapter and supplied with disposable syringes, PTFE tubing and needles. Automating solution dispensing during spin coating removes much of the manual effort from demanding depositions, improves repeatability between runs and reduces operator error.

Up to four solutions can be dispensed separately, which suits layer-by-layer coating, antisolvent quenching and other multi-step processes. Each pump on the dual model runs fully independently, and manual pipetting remains possible without taking the adapter off. Both instruments carry built-in software, so multi-step programs are created and stored without an external PC.

The Advanced spin coater operates from 500 to 10,000 rpm with speed stability better than 0.25% error, programmable acceleration and deceleration, and a PTFE bowl inside a powder coated steel casing with a tempered glass lid. The system ships with a multi-substrate chuck in PTFE or PEEK, with custom chuck options for non-standard substrates up to 100 mm (4") diameter. The units can also be used separately when an experiment needs only one of them.
