These Ossila ITO glass substrates measure 25 mm x 75 mm and carry a patterned indium tin oxide layer for organic photovoltaic (OPV) and OLED research. They are intended for groups moving beyond small test cells to larger devices, and for studying manufacturing approaches suited to larger scales at an affordable cost.

Each substrate is made from polished soda lime float glass, 1.1 mm thick, coated with fully oxidized ITO of 100 nm ± 20 nm thickness and 20 Ω/square sheet resistance. Surface quality is characterised by AFM: the glass roughness is below 1 nm RMS and the ITO roughness is 1.8 nm RMS.

The ITO pattern comes in two layouts, a pixelated design and a module design. This catalogue entry covers packs of 20 substrates. The substrates are designed to work with the Ossila 75 mm x 25 mm PV/OLED System.

  • Fabrication of larger-area OLED devices on pre-patterned ITO.
  • Production of scaled-up organic photovoltaic cells and modules.
  • Investigation of large-scale manufacturing techniques for OPV and OLED devices.
  • Use with the Ossila 75 mm x 25 mm PV/OLED System.
