5-Bromo-2-(2,6-dioxopiperidin-3-yl)isoindoline-1,3-dione (CAS 26166-92-7) is a brominated phthalimide–glutarimide derivative used as a cereblon-binding ligand in targeted protein degradation research. Its aryl bromide handle is well suited to palladium-catalysed cross-couplings such as Suzuki and Buchwald–Hartwig reactions, allowing convenient linker attachment during PROTAC assembly.
