TCI C0927 2-Ethylhexyl Chloroformate (CAS 24468-13-1) is a reactive liquid chloroformate used to form carbamates and carbonates from amines and alcohols. Its branched, lipophilic chain makes it useful for tuning solubility in synthesis, for activating carboxylic acids as mixed anhydrides, and for derivatising polar analytes prior to chromatography.
